Team Registration

Minnesota FIRST® LEGO® League
has a 2-part registration process: 

1. Register your team nationally with FIRST and purchase materials. 

•   Registration opens in May ($225)
•   Purchase the robot ($420) if you do not have one.
•   Purchase new field setup kit ($75) every year.
•   National Registration closes Sept 30th or when kits run out. 
    Your team will not have the necessary equipment to compete after this date.

2. Register for a MN Regional Tournament with High Tech Kids.

•  Registration opens in mid-September ($60).
•  Each team is allowed to compete in only ONE MN Regional Tournament.
•  Team placement will be done on a first-come first-serve basis.
   Over 400 teams are scheduled into 13 events annually.
•  Regional Tournament Registration due by October 14th.
•  Coaches are notified of Regional Tournament placement via email by October 30th.
