 High Tech Kids has engaged more than 22,000 kids in fun, hands-on science, engineering and technology programs since 1999. Student participants increased 18% in 2010! 10% of our program costs are covered by team fees. We rely on individual and corporate donors to support over 3,000 kids and 700 volunteers each year. All donations are 100% tax-deductible. Receipts will be mailed to you.

  Corporate Volunteer Hours and Matching Gifts

To increase the value of your time, consider your corporate volunteer hours. Many businesses will make a donation based on time spent with students: 3M, Ecolab, Honeywell, Land O'Lakes, Medtronic and others. Our thanks to those who take the time to help us attain these fantastic donations. Give us a call or check with your Human Resources Department to learn more.

Your employer may also provide corporate matching gifts for your financial donation. Again, doubling your donation! If you have any questions about donating please contact us. We would be happy to assist.

How We Use Your Contributions

$20        buys one team award plaque, more than 150 are awarded at regionals
$50        buys one State Championship team trophy, more than 35 trophies given annually
$100      buys 36 participation medals, more than 3,000 will be given out this year
$250      buys food for 40 volunteers needed to run each full day event
$500      buys a laptop to run scoring software at tournaments
$1000    buys one tournament site permit
$1500    buys LEGO® kits needed for tournaments
