THANK YOU to the University of Minnesota College of Science & Engineering and MnDRIVE for their continuing support of our MN FTC Kickoff event.

                 


ALL Minnesota FTC Teams are welcome to attend this FREE event.
Teams do NOT need to be completely registered with FIRST and
event registration is NOT required.

Kick off Activities will include:

  • Keynote Speaker - Dr. Woodie Flowers
  • AGENDA
  • Breakout Sessions will be held in Bruininks Hall
  • RES-Q Demo
  • Game Reveal at 11:00 AM
  • Bring your beacon(s) for FREE reprogramming
    (Teams only need to bring the board. Be sure to label all beacons/boards with your team number!)
  • Andy Baker owner & president of AndyMark will be presenting and on hand to answer questions!

To be better prepared for the reveal,
read the 2016 Game Manual, part 1 and the 2016 Mentor Guide.
 

This event is free and open to all Minnesota FTC teams and volunteers.  
Registration is not required,
but highly recommended and appreciated.  
Teams registered by August 25th will received a free game piece and printed copy of the Game Manual, part 2 (one set per team)!

Registration is now CLOSED, but FTC TEAMS ARE STILL WELCOME TO ATTEND!

Seating in the Coffman Great Hall is limited, therefore only FTC teams and volunteers will be permitted to attend Woodie Flowers keynote presentation. 

Note: All other FIRST teams (FRC, FLL and FLL Jr.) are welcome to meet and converse with Woodie Flowers at 1:00pm in Bruininks Hall.

 
FTC POST KICKOFF with GOFIRST
NEW THIS YEAR - ALL TEAMS WELCOME!
GOFIRST, a University of Minnesota student group comprised of FIRST alumni and robot enthusiasts, will be hosting a Post Kickoff (PoKo) event for FTC teams.

Begin your game analysis & strategic design process immediately following Kickoff. Teams will have the opportunity to analyze the game together and implement an invaluable design process that will help them through the season.

This event is a great experience for anyone, whether you are new to FIRST or you are a seasoned veteran.
